Vatra Dornei
The resort that is also called the Pearl of Bucovina is situated in the depression of Dornas, on an altitude of 802 m, on the confluence of Bistrita with Dorna. This region has many springs with mineral water, industrially exploited on Poiana Negri, Sarul Dornei and Floreni.
The resort is appreciated by tourists of all ages. It addresses to those who chose to spend their holiday in an active way, by practicing winter sports or mountain ascensions, but also to those who want to take a rest in a wonderful place.
Vatra Dorna offers many possibilities of leisure: road tripping, car circuits to the monasteries from Bucovina, fishing on Bistrita river, paragliding in Suhard, riverrafting, mountain ciclism in the depression of Dorna, and for the winter season there are arranged ski trails having a medium difficulty level, having lifts, a skating rink and a trail and on the Runc mountain there is a ski trail.

- The Park from the centre of the resort

- The Dracula Castle, only 40 km away from Vatra Dornei
