Băile Covasna Spa
The famous spa called Covasna is situated on the foothills of Bretcu Mountains being surrounded by mountains from North, East and South, with an opening to the west to Trei Scaune.
The Center of Health Turism from Covasna offers treatments through mineral waters and CO2 for treating the cardiovascular diseases, but also for other diseases. The treatments recommended by the doctors can be followed on the cardiology hospital, situated in a forest, but also in any treatment centre from the hotels.
The variety created the possibility of the development of the balneal turism. In the resort there are many mineral springs.
Covasna is known as “The Resort of the 1000 health springs”. The natural curative resources are valued in the active treatment basis on the whole period of the year. The main tourist attractions are:
