The Chiuza Lake, Pension Chiuza
Chiuza is situated in central-western side of Bistrita-Nasaud. In the same area there is Somesul Mare river and Nasaud Hills, area situated at the periphery of Tiblesului Mountains, that are in the North of the commune. Tourist attractions: daco-roman archeological traces: Sasarm, the reformant church Sasarm, edified in 1754 as hystorical monument, archeological traces from the 17th century, also on Sasarm, th mansion where it was the Chiuza Town-Hall, the leisure area from River Somes to Sasarm. The closest towns are: Beclean, 12 km away, Nasaud , 12 km away and Bistrita, 42 km away.
Chiuza lake is an artificial lake, having carps, crucian and phytophagous.
Chiuza Pension is recommended to those who want to have a relaxing weekend in nature, fishing with friends and having a cold beer with them on the shore of the lake. The tourists are accommodated in wooden small houses, in a rustic area.
The double rooms cost 50 RON.
Activities: Fishing contests, the lakes are populated with carp, crucian and phytophagous.
Services: There is a garden with a big surface, arranged as a green area, with two lakes where you can go fishing, you can go with the hydro bicycle, and for the kids there is a playing area, specially arranged.
