The Sacalaia Lake
Sacalaia lake is a natural reservation, having vegetation around, therefore it is allowed fishing only from the boat. If you have fishing permission you pay only the boat, without any other tax. It is also called the pike lake. The water is quite deep, close to the shore and about 18 m in the middle.
Access: The lake is about 55 km away from Cluj-Napoca. Route: Cluj-Gherla-Nicula-Sacalaia.
Fishing without permit is allowed, and the maximum quantity is 5 kilos. The tax is 40 RON/day.
Species: crucian, bream, pike.
