The Razelm Lake
As geographical position it is situated in Eastern Romania, in the hystorical region called Dobrogea, in Tulcea county. Razelm Lake has a surface of 394,30 square kilometers, from the total of 731 square kilometers of the lagunar complex Razim. As type of lake it is a lagoon having the sands of an old golf. As a result of this process there had appeared the lagunar complex Razim-Sinoe, of which this lake belongs, a real beauty of nature.
In the same area there are Sarichioi and Jurilocva towns. Sarichioi has wonderful landscapes and many possibilities of leisure, with numerous tracks, in Delta or on Razelm Lake.
Jurilocva has a beautiful natural framework, which offers many tourist attractions, being known especially because of its position, close to Razelm Lake and because of its citadel Agarum.
Razelm Lake has many types of fish, so that the main financial source of the locals is fishing.
The main tourist attractions are:
- The lagunar complex Razim-Sinoe
- Very important ornithological reservations of the Delta, real natural museums
- The ruins of Argamum Citadel
- The Periteasca-Leahova-Portița Reservation
You will be able to start your trip in Delta on many canals and rivers, where you will have the chance to admire the fauna and the flora of the Delta, to participate on fishing and haunting, to have fun on the skyjet or other motorboats. You can go on a trip by boat, canoe, kayak, go and admire the birds or catching a tan.
