Sfântu-Gheorghe
The town lies on the left side of the oldest branch of Danube- St. George, close to the river mouth to the Black Sea.
The acces in town is possible only by ships. You can go with a ship from Tulcea sea-port, Mahmudia, or Murghiol Sea-port,
The village gives the impression of a hidden world, the kind of world where time stood still, with many sand dunes, lakes with water-lilies, shores with willows and reeds, with wooden-houses covered by reeds, but also with friendly hosts and great events, clean rooms and dream-like surroundings, they all offer to the visitors that are used to the fast-living of the 21st century, a perfect place for resting and relaxation.
The village has a beach that is quite big, beautiful and clean, covered with smooth sand, where there are clear rivers, the tourists being offered with the possibility of catching a tan or having a bath.
Here you can rent specifical boats: hydro bicycle, yachts, motor boats, leisure boats, kayaks, sky jets, or you can go fishing on Delta.
Among all of these, you can enjoy the local events.
