The Salt Mine Turda
The first attesting of extracting the salt in Turda is dating from 1271. The deposit from Turda is situated in Northern-East of the town, on a surface of 25 square kilometers. The saline is very good for the treatment of the respiratory affections because of its constant temperature of 10-12 C and the humidity of 75-80% and also because of the optimal concentration of aerosols (particles of solid salt)

Terezia Mine is a mine having the shape of a bell, 90 m deep, also having a lake that is 5-8 m deep and a diameter of 70 m. Therefore , there was built a wharf on the lake, with boats that allow the tourists to walk on the lake.
