In 1999 we decided to buy a little house in Torockó, to have a place to relax on weekends. Back then it was a small, forgotten house, it even had a stall. We started improving it, making it more beautiful. We spent almost every weekend doing something to improve the house. So, instead of relaxing, this house meant even more work to be done. Meanwhile, thanks to a local teacher, more and more tourists started to visit this nice little Hungarian village. And there is nothing strange in that, since the village is very beautiful indeed, most of it's houses being built 3 centuries ago in the same specific manner. This is why the village is an architectural curiosity. Our pension has been built in the same way. Acknowledging this, the houses have been declared part of the world heritage and they have been awarded with the Europa Nostra prize. Most of the old traditions still live here, along with the traditional wear. Come and visit us, visit Torockó and it's beautiful landscape. Away from civilization, feel the fresh air every morning and taste the traditional Hungarian cuisine of this region.
At the moment we have 6 room, 2 with 4 beds, 1 with 3 beds and 3 with 2 beds. All together this adds up to 17 beds but in case of need (e.g. large group), we can add 2 supplementary beds.
In our restaurant we can serve around 40 people, even travelers.
