Semenic
The tourist resort Semenic is situated in the mountains that have the same name, mountains that are part of the Sothern Group of Occidental Carpathian Mountains. The highest point is Piatra Goznei, that has 1447 m, followed by Semenic, that has 1445 m. The tourist complex lies between the 2 tops on an altitude of 1400 m.
During winter, tourists have arranged tracks, some of them with a lift having 2900 m length, a skilift having 400 m lenth and a babylift. In the resort there are also many sleighing trails.
In Summer you have the possibility to go on road-tripping to the climacteric resorts Crivaia, Trei Ape or to the accumulation lake Valiug, to Carasului keys or to caves Buhui, Comarnic, etc.
