Techirghiol
The town is situated in the South-East extremity, Constanta county, which is situated on the Techirghiol lake (12 square km, 10-15 m depth) 16 km of Constanta city, close to the Black Sea(3 km).
Techirghiol lake is well known for the quality of its salt water and for the mud, used for the treatment of some diseases.
Activities, sightseeing: Saint Maria monastery was built in the 1750’s by the old people from Maioresti village- Mures County, by old sessiles, and was encrusted with a tempera picture on wood, by the craftmans painters of the village.
This seat has kept its initially destination, that of a Rest House, offers for those who want, a treatment centre and rooms that feature all that is necessary for the modern tourist, for the highest standards.
