Eforie Sud
Starting with 1899, this is the place where Hotel Movila was innaugrated and around it there were built baths for treatments. Starting from 1928 Eforie sud has been declared balnear resort and between the 2 World Wars it became town. The profile of the resort is a balneoclmateric one with treatment at the international standards, covering a very wide area of affections. Meanwhile, here you have the possibility to relax and have fun, there are many specifical traditional or international restaurants, bars, pools, terraces, night clubs, recreational arreas, such as sports fields, accessories for the water sports.
Eforie Sud resort is situated to the North of Tuzla Hill, between Black Sea and Techirghiol Lake, very close to Eforie Nord and is recommended for mud treatments in the balnear centers “Baile Reci”.
The resort is recommended especially for those who are looking for some rest, lower prices and touristic services and balnear treatments.
The main attraction of the Resort, Baile Reci, was completely restaurated. In Eforie Sud there is also a Sanitarium for children with rheumatic affections, and with permanent regime, that treats especially the fizical weakness and rachitis.
The Beach: The beach is the smallest compared to the othet beaches from the our coast because of the accentuated erosion and the lack of investition for protection. The cliff is very high, the acces to it is made through the stairs. It has to be mentioned that in the North of the resort, the area between Eforie Sud and Eforie Nord, on a distance of 2 km there is a very good beach. There are wide arreas of smooth sand. It’s a very beautiful resort, silence, great panorama, low prices and verdure.
Activities and Objectives: The resort is distinct also towards its promontory of limestone and its high cliff from where there can be seen an amazing panorama. Open air Theatre, the recreation area and the possibility of practicing water sports.
There can be organized internal trips from the resort, such as: the tour of the city Constanta, the tour of the town Dobrogea, Delta Dunarii, trip on Murfatlar and wine tasting, visits ti the monasteries in Northern Dobrogea. You can also try a trip with the boat for one day to Delta Dunarii, having as a leaving point Tulcea or Jurilovca town.
