Azuga
Azuga is situated in the superior part of Prahova Valley in Prahova county, between Sinaia and Predeal. Azuga resort is located on the foothills of Bucegi Mountains on an altitude of 1110 m, on a distance of 38 km of Poiana Brasov and 147 km of Bucuresti.
Azuga has the climate of the alpine areas, with no dust and pollution. The medium annual temperature is 7 Celsius degree.
The trails from Azuga are appreciated by many tourists every year. Here they can find two trails: Sorica and Cazacu. On the first mentioned trail tourists can ski by night, being illuminated on an area of 800 meters. On the same distance work the artificial snow. There are also lifts that work and their schedule can be longer if it is required.
