Sinaia is a city in the center of Romania, situated on Prahova valley, on the Bucegi foothills, on an altitude that varies between 798-971 m, 121 km from Bucharest and 49 km from Brasov, 68 km from Pitesti.

It is also called Perla Carpatilor because of its wonderful landscapes and special conditions, especially for the winter sports. All the trails from the resort have cable lifts, where you can get by the cable lift from Sinaia, cote 1400- cote 2000.

The snow persists from the end of September until the end of March. In the center of the resort, Southern Montana, there is the lift. The ski trails have a length of 11.500 m, with different difficulty levels, going from blue (easy) to black and red (hard and medium).

Between 15th of December and 15th of April the ski schools organize classes for children and adults, as well.
