The Dendrologic Park Hemeiusi

The dendrologic park Hemeiusi is situated in Hemeiusi village, that is part of the hydrographic basin of Bistrita river. The Hemeiusi Park was created at the end of the 19th century (1880) on a surface of 50 hectares, on its territory being over 1300 species of trees, being from this point of view the most diversified forest area from Moldova. Because of the researchers collective that maintain their activity here, nowadays the park is well kept from the biologic point of view.

The Natural Park Apuseni

The Natural Park is situated in the Central-North-Eastern side of the Apuseni mountains, lying on a side of Bihor Mountains on the South and Vladeasa on the North. The fact that it is declared Natural Park has to do with its rich landscape. The most important formations of this kind are: Piatra Altarului Cave, Rea Valley Cave, Aven V5 (the deepest cave from the country), Micula Cave, Zgrasti Cave (with the biggest sub terrain lake in Romania), The Glacier from Scarisoara (the biggest sub terrain glacier from the country), Focul Viu Glacier, Pestera Onceasca, Vartop Glacier, Poienita-Humpleu, Sighisetului Valley (it offers the biggest natural cavity density from the territory of our country), Ursilor Cave.

The Natural Park Balta Mica of Braila

The Natural Park Balta Mica of Braila is situated in a meadow with natural system of inundation of Danube, between Vadu Oii and Braila. Balta Mica of Braila conserves important ecological component of the Inferior Danube system, situated close to the Reservation Biosphere Danube Delta. This Area has an ornithological importance because it is situated on the most important migration lane of the birds from the inferior basin of Inferior Danube, being situated on the halfway of the migration routes between the places from Northern Europe and the refugees from Africa. There were observed a big number of birds, among which, 160 species were protected on international plan.

The Natural Park Gradistea Muncelului-Cioclovina

The Natural Park Gradistea Muncelului Cioclovina is situated in Sureanu Mountains and lies on a surface of 38184 hectares, being a protected area of national interest. Since 2007 it has been protected as a proposal of becoming a sit for the ecological European system NATURA 2000. It has 6 of the most beautiful natural reservations of the Hunedoara county: The karst complex Ponoraci-Cioclovina, Tecuri Cave, Sura Mare Cave, The Crivadiei Keys, Ohaba- Ponor, The Bolii Hill and Cave. On the territory of the park there are also the archeological sits of Sarmisegetusa Regia, Costesti, Blidaru, Luncani-Piatra Rosie, as parts of the UNESCO patrimony and the authentic ethnographic settlements from the Luncanilor Platform.

The Natural Park Portile de Fier

The Natural Park Portile de Fier lies on a surface of appreciatively 115665,8 ha, being one of the biggest natural parks from Romania, having 18 reservations. It is situated in the Southern-Western country, on the left shore of Danube, between Buzias and Gura Vaii. On its area there are also a part of Banatului Mountains and Mehedinti Mountains and a part of Mehedinti Highland. On the territory of the park there are different kind of plants species strictly protected, the most important being: Tulipa Hungarica that can also be found in Ciucaru mare, Ruscus Aculeatus, Camplanula crassipes, Daphne Laureola, etc. There can also be found the following animal species: the turtle, the horned viper, the wolf, the green lizard.

 
The Natural Park Vanatori Neamt

The Natural Park Vanatori Neamt

The National Park Vanatori Neamt is situated on the East of the Stanisoara Mountains in the North of the Neamt county. The park has a surface of 30818 hectares, from which over 26300 hectares are the forests. The Natural Park Vanatori Neamt was founded in 1998 to represent and conserve a population of bisons- an extinction specie from our fauna. The main objectives of the administration of the park are the maintaining of the bio-diversity by conserving the species and the main ecosystems, as well as the landscapes from the park, creating the necessary conditions to release the bisons, the increasing of the eco-tourism and promoting the natural values of the region, as well as implying the public and the community in conserving the values of the park, through educational programs.
