The National Park Cheile Bicazului-Hasmas
The National Park Cheile Bicazului-Hasmas lies on the counties Harghita and Neamt, being located in Hasmas Mountains, situated in the central group of Oriental Carpathians. The most important tourist attractions of the national park are: Lacul Rosu resort, a mountain climacteric resort, very appreciated by the tourists, the observation points: Suhardul Mic, Ghilcos Massive, Bicazului Keys, having a length of 5 km, being the most impressing from the country, Avenul Licas, situated on the Northern extremity of the park, The Sugaului Keys, The Duruitoare Keys, The Bicajelului Keys, The Hasmasul Mare Top, that has 1792 meters; Piatra Singuratica_Hasmasul Mare; Poiana Alba- Hasmasul Mare, from where you can continue on any trace to the main tourist attractions from the area.
The keys were formed by the erosion of the softer lime-stones. The surroundings, predominated by different colored and varied rocks, from Bicazu Ardelean- Lacu Rosu, create one of the most remarkable tourist tracks from Carpati.
In the National Park Cheile Bicazului-Hasmas there are about 1050 superior plants, such as: Astrogalus pseudopurpureus, Centaurea carpatica, Dianthus spiculifolius, a rare specie , called Juniperus sabina and real monuments of nature: Papucul Doamnei, the edelweiss, Sangele Voinicului, etc.
For the increasing of eco-tourism and also for the increasing of the attraction of the area, each track will have a pack of information about the local communities, relief, flora and fauna. The local specialized guides will be capable to offer auxiliary information.
