The Béldy-Mikes from Ozun

The

 

Béldy-Mikes castle is situated in Ozun and was built by Mikes family, on the area belonging to the noble Béldy Pál. Parts of the property are the castle, the garner, the bulkheads for the horses and the small guarding room on the entrance from the court. The castle is characterized by the verandas with small columns and arches that are made in relief in the centre of the main façade. The arches style, the structure from the rooms indicates the fact that it was built in the 18th century, in 1755.

The main building has 3 levels, on the deck floor there are 3 rooms for parties and receptions. The garner has 4 levels, from which the basement and the deck floor have arched roomns.

The first 2 floors have rooms that are used for theatral representations and exhibitions.
