Venus
The Venus resort is situated between Saturn and Cap Aurora, 3 km away from Mangalia, from which it belongs in administrative terms, 41 km to the South of Constanta. Having the name of the Goddess of Beauty- Venus, the resort is remarkable beause of its special architecture of the hotels surrounded of huge lungs. The Razelm lake offers many possibilities of leisure.
Developed as a spa, here one may benefit of treatments based on natural factors, specifical to our seaside: sea water, mud, aerosols, sulphurous mineral water.
Venus is a relatively new resort (1972), elegant and welcoming, not very crowded during Summer, which offers the tourists a relaxing, quiet holiday. As a curiousity, most of the hotels in Venus have 5 stars and are named by feminine names.
The beach: The resort has a big natural beach (that has 1,2km length, between Venus and Saturn and 200 m width) with smooth sand, for heliotherapy and talasotherapy, where there are sulphurous mineral springs, hypothermal, as showers.
Activities, Sightseeing: The possibility of spending your free time are as numerous as in the other resorts: yachting, wind-surfing, rowing, tennis, minigolf. For those who are passionate of riding, there is the Mangalia stud. Like the other Romanian resorts, Venus has sea breezes, the sun that is shinning and the smooth sand of the beaches, being am attraction for the tourists looking for a place to relax. In Venus there is an open-air cinema, many tennis and football arreas and playgrounds kids.
On Razelm Lake tourists can practice rowing or fishing.
Treatment centers: In the South side of the resort there is a special pavilion for those who follow treatments with mud packing and sulphurous baths. The natural cure factors are the marine climate, rich in aerosols and solar radiation, with stimulating effect on the human body, chlorinated seawater, sulfate, sodic, magnezian and hypotonic. The Resort is a good place for spending your freetime, as well as a place of treatment for diseases. Here can be treated degenerative rheumatic diseases, posttraumatic states, secondary anemia, weakness, decalcification, rachitis, skin diseases, endocrine disorders, gynecological disease.
The treatment centre of the Mezothermal Palace Hotel is organized like a solar with two pools of 600 m each, including pools for kids, 2 beaches for nudism that have 1900 square meters each, massage saloon, fitness club, thermal water and mud baths, hydrotherapy baths, electrotherapy, ultrasound. The thermal water is being provided from a proper probe.
