Neptun - Olimp
The Neptun and Olimp resorts belong in terms of green administrative to Mangalia. They are situated 6km from Mangalia and 38km from Constanta. The two resorts, being very similar, practically became one: Neptun-Olimp. The resort had been considered for many years as being the most beautiful, popular and expensive resort from the Sea Coast, but it was eventually upgraded by Mamaia, that had a great development. Still, it hadn’t lost its beauty and elegance that it once had, and it offers the tourists huge green arreas, treatment centers, hotels. The resort is situated between Neptun lake on East and Comorova forest to the west.
It is one of the most luxurious resorts of the Sea Coast. On the beach there are many chase lounges and umbrellas, that are not free, barely one can find a place for those who come on the beach with blankets. Neptun-Olimp is a resort that is in continuously changing, because it lies on the bays between the sea and Neptun lake. Therefore the settlement of the hotels is an atypical one. The resort is on the same level with Mamaia, high prices but the quality that is worthing, on the restaurants, clubs and not only.
The beach: The main attraction of the resort is “ La Steaguri” beach, that is one of the best arranged beaches from the Sea Coast, almost as good as the beaches from Mamaia. Here, every day, one can travel with the boat. The beach from Neptun is continued with the one from Jupiter to the South and with the one from Olimp to the North, without being next to it, because betweene them there is an area that belongs to the Government, where there can be found the most expensive villas from Romania.
The Neptun beach is 30-100m wide, with soft sand, clean water and many possibilities of spending the free time and all kind of facilities.
Activities, Sightseeing: Neptun-Olimp is a resort that offers the tourists many possibilities to spend their free time. Of course, first of all everybody comes here for the beach. Besides the ours spent for catching a tan, one can also try some sports, there are many arreas for tennis, football, minigolf, volleyball. If sports is not one of your hobbies, you can go shopping, there are many shops in centre, where you can find all kind of products, from toys to clothes and shoes.
After a shopping session, you can go on cruise with the boat on the sea, that is leaving from the “ La steaguri” beach. And in the evening there are many discos and clubs opened, the most popular being “Why not”.
Besides those described above, you can also find bowling centres, open-air shows, points where you can rent equipment for water sports, amusement park, etc.
